"POLITICAL SUICIDE"
Today it would be political suicide for any elected official to oppose a quality of life issue than would benefit physically challenged people, and it would surely help any candidate to show that he or she cares about this issue of helping the physically challenged citizens with the decision making needed to improve their homes. AMERICANS WHO CARE. ..ASK REAL HARDBALL QUESTIONS OF OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS ..
Question ..To our elected political leaders: Will you go on the record supporting a bi-partisan commission to determine if the FTC regulation known as the 3-day rescission that was adopted in the late 60's has an exemption that is considered discriminatory and does not offer equal opportunity to disabled and physically challenged Americans? And if it is determined that discrimination is evident, would they support a new FTC regulation for in-home sales that would include disclosure/transparency for all Americans Who Care?
