Our position is there can be no opposing point of view for those that believe in productivity, ingenuity, and honesty and we welcome any challenge to opposing points of view.…..Americans Who Care believe the only answer our elected officials can say is "I ENDORSE DISCLOSURE FOR THE PUBLIC." It is not politically correct for any elected officials to be on the record as saying "I AM OPPOSED TO DISCLOSURE FOR THE PUBLIC"

I take inspiration from one mom, with principles and values, who still is on a mission, Candace Lightner, who SUCCESSFULLY WAS ABLE TO CHANGE THE WAY BUREAUCRATS WHO WERE APATHETIC AND INDECISIVE AND RESISTED CHANGE, EVENTUALLY DID THE RIGHT THING.

Did you know…During the period 1982 to 1988 approximately 166,000 persons lost their lives in alcohol related traffic accidents. 1980…..ON A MISSION….ONE MOM….TOOK  A STAND…..A HERO FOR SAFETY. Overcoming apathy & indecisiveness by our elected officials in the Court of Public Opinion. It took only one… PERSON to TAKE A STAND TO DRAMATICALLY CHANGE the way LICENSED DRIVERS OPERATE THEIR VEHICLES. DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE IS NO LONGER TOLERATED IN OUR COUNTRY…..Whether you are driving a car, flying a plane, or operating the space shuttle. I am blessed to have known my wife Pat of 45 years. We met at 16, and are married 39 years. Both of our parents nurtured us with honesty and integrity, the knowledge of personal responsibility and pride in individual achievement. Belief in God and love of country. Respect for old school American values. We are both grateful that our 3 sons, James, Jeffrey, and Justin, are involved in the day-to-day operations of our family business. Our company is called WE CARE because WE DO. The foundation and the future of our company is based on productivity, ingenuity, honesty, and personal responsibility.

I believe the competitors in my business are not the other honest contractors. It's the inefficient, complacent, dishonest contractors who spoil the marketplace, and restrict spending. I believe that being a contractor is a privilege. Just like driving a car, and a licensed driver must take a test. I also believe that a contractor should take a test. Part of this test is showing up and having their picture taken. Next, sitting down and filling out an employment application, or a competency questionnaire, whatever you wish to call it, then signing their name. The municipality should require having this information on the back of the contract, for consumer evaluation. Consumers will then be empowered, with the information necessary, to make an intelligent decision. I provide 18 categories, and I believe the 3 most important categories are: First, consistency, or continuity of ownership. Just because the corporation has been around for 30 years, is there a new owner? Secondly, has that contractor been licensed before under another name? And the third most important fact, is the percentage of business that comes from recommendation and referral. For if a contractor does not provide a quality product or quality service, people do not recommend you, and they truly do not call you back a second time.

More people are robbed at penpoint in their homes by dishonest and incompetent shop-in-home companies than at gunpoint by muggers. THIS DOES NOT STIMULATE THE ECONOMY. EVERY ELECTION WE HEAR PARTISAN POLITICIANS SAY "WE NEED A CHANGE OF DIRECTION IN OUR COUNTRY" We The People…Americans Who Care…say " LET'S CHANGE THE DIRECTION OF OUR COUNTRY TO DISCLOSURE." ACCURATE VERIFIABLE INFORMATION WITH ACCOUNTABILITY…OFFERS TRANSPARENCY POWER TO THE PEOPLE. A REAL CHANGE FOR AMERICANS WHO CARE, AND REAL POWER TO THE PEOPLE. As an American Who Cares with the desire to see positive change and level the playing field allowing Productivity, Ingenuity, and Honesty to compete fairly with Inefficiency, Complacency, and Dishonesty.
